T&J Baby List
Caveat: There are some things we haven’t needed or used yet. We’ll update this list as we go, but here are some thoughts on the things we’ve used and liked so far. Take it or leave it..
ALSO -- this is a lot and can be overwhelming to read through. I felt the same way when reading through friend’s lists. Baby product world is a whole new ball game..quite different than registering for your wedding. There are sooo many products and it seems impossible to decide what to get. I had about 5-6 lists sent to me...I basically looked through, saw what products most people tended to use/like, then registered for those things. I also sat with a pediatrician-mom friend and had her go through my registry with me. My advice...get what you need for the early days. Stuff for 6mo and up can probably wait until you get to know your baby a little better. Or at least save the boxes, receipts, tags, etc. for the things you’ll use later. You’ll end up getting things that your baby will hate, or you’ll never use. Or you’ll get duplicates of things. Or you’ll get the bottles that everyone recommends, only to find that your lactation consultant hates them… Another though...borrow! We’ve borrowed a few things that are pricey, or not sure that Luke would like (swing), or are things that we won’t need for a long time (bassinet stand).
okay here we go…
